Mothers Day Outing 2014

Belinda and John as in past years hosted Sue and of course me to a Mothers day outing Kangaroo Valley was choice this year.
The day looked dim to start with but warmed enough to make the day enjoyable, with time to wonder the street of kangaroo valley. She found a 2nd hand book store and that was enough for at least 2 hours for browsing and a few books to add to our libraries.

On our way down via M5 at Pheasants Nest Roahdhouse where we made a quick stop for a stretch and cuppa. The Holden FX car club also had a break.

This poor Ek wagon with its Woodie Wagon hand painted wood trim look ..........well my heart sank.
Holden never produced such as a Woodie Wagon.

My Uncle Roy and Kevin Foster had FC - Fe's. Roy latter had an EH wagon no depicted here in any photo.

My Dad's first car was an EK wagon just the same as the Salmon Pink one below his had blinds in the back.
This amazing spinning wheel spotted at a 2nd hand store in kangaroo valley
